Abstract	This report has been compiled to summarise all available information on industrial minerals in the Serowe-Palapye-Mahalapye area. It has been prepared by the Geological Survey Department being part of a continuing assessment of the mineral resources of Botswana. The term industrial mineral covers, in this report, all economically and marginally economic useful rocks and minerals other than those which are exploited as sources of metals or as mineral fuels.
